The stained glass window at the front of our sanctuary shares through its imagery the “holy ground” Moses found himself on as God spoke to him from the burning bush. |

Worship at Emmanuel
Sundays mornings at 10:00 am |
|
Worship at Emmanuel is perhaps best described as casual traditional. Our music ranges from the old favorites to the newer contemporary hymns along with the great spirituals and gospel favorites. Scriptures are chosen from Lectionary cycle of readings which helps us to take in all the breadth and beauty of the Bible with contemporary applications to real life. On Sunday mornings, Nursery care is available infants through age 5 but kids are always welcome in worship. Children are an important part of worship with our "Treasure Box Time." As Pastor Mark occasionally reminds us, “he’d rather hear the crying of a baby than the snoring of a saint.” There is also a seating area with rockers in the back of the sanctuary reserved for families with small children which provides just a bit more room to move around when kids get a bit too wiggly for sitting in the pews. As far as what to wear, feel free to wear what you’re comfortable in. Worship lasts around an hour but does run longer on occasion. We hope you don’t mind. We’ve learned you can’t rush worship and there are occasions when time really isn’t so important and worship is one of those occasions. Following worship we invite you to stay for food and fellowship. This relaxed time is a great opportunity to get to better know the people of Emmanuel. As you can see by the photos below worship at Emmanuel is ever changing. You never know what you’ll experience until you get here.
