The founder of the Methodist moment, John Wesley, placed primary emphasis on Christian living; on putting faith and love into action. As United Methodists, we believe God's love calls us into loving and serving others near and far. At Emmanuel Church, we believe God calls us to live out our faith by supporting the worldwide missions of the church and being in relationship with our neighbors. We love downtown Appleton and the Lawrence neighborhood! We believe God has made this corner of College and Meade our home for an important purpose. We pray for God's guidance as we live out our faith through the Emmanuel mission statement- "We Welcome! We Worship! We Witness!" |

We are a casual, traditional worship environment. Our worship is a blend of old and new favorites. Our proximity to Lawrence University connects us to several talented musicians that help make our Sunday mornings worshipful and reflective. From September to May, the Emmanuel Choir provides music from a wide variety of genres.
