Over one million women have chosen to be members of this special organization, United Methodist Women. This community of women is centered in a relationship with God through Jesus Christ; focused on ministries for women, youth, and children; involved in missions locally and globally; pledged to provide financial support for missions; engaged in the development and use of skills for service, leadership development, and personal growth; and encouraged to work with other organizations on issues of mutual concern. The Emmanuel UMW is very active in raising funds for the United Methodist in Senegal and our missionaries Bill and Gwen Gibson.
