Worship at Emmanuel is perhaps best described as casual traditional. Our music ranges from the old favorites to the newer contemporary hymns along with the great spirituals and gospel favorites.  Scriptures are chosen from the Lectionary cycle of readings which helps us to take in all the breadth and beauty of the Bible with contemporary applications to real life.

Children's "Prayground" worship area


We welcome children into our time of worship!  Pastor Ben was a stay-at-home dad for three years, and knows all about the blessings of small children! We offer a special "Children’s Message" just for them!  We also have two seating areas in the back of the sanctuary reserved for families with children. The Fireside area with rockers and couches is helpful for those times kids get too wiggly for sitting in the pews. Our new "Prayground" area invites older children ( ages 5 and up) to participate in worship through arts, crafts, and reading. Nursery care is offered for children ages 0-5.
