 Pastor Sangrok Lee​

​Pastor Sangrok who goes by Rok, was born in South Korea and grew up as a cradle Christian in the Korean Methodist Church.  From an early age, he cherished his church deeply - so much so that as a middle and high school student, he often loved being at church more that being at home.

After completing his undergraduate studies in Law, he followed God's calling into ministry and pursued a Master of Divinity.  In 2019, he was ordained an elder in the Korean Methodist Church.  Following his ordination he came to the United States to continue his theological journey.  He earned a master of Theological Studies at Wesley Theological Seminary in 2021 and is now pursuing a Doctor of Ministry Degree at United Theological Seminary, with a focus on spiritual leadership.

Pastor Rok has a heart for people - he loves meeting others, listening to their stories and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  He is especially passionate about evangelism and walking with others in their journey of faith.

Outside of ministry, Pastor Rok enjoys watching dramas, working out and eating ice cream - even though he is lactose intolerant!  While studying at Wesley, he met the love of his life, Jinny Kim and they were married.  In the spring of 2024, they joyfully welcomed their baby girl, Ari, into their family.

​Ryan Korb our Music Director is an in-demand educator and performer.  A native of Billings, Montana, Ryan won the 1990 Governor’s Scholarship to attend the National Music Camp in Interlochen, Michigan. Ryan received his Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance and Music Education from Lawrence University.  As a sideman, Ryan has performed with Aretha Franklin, Frank Sinatra, Jr., Bill Mays, Russell Malone, Byron Stripling, John Fedchock, Llew Matthews, Tamir Hendelman, Valerie Naranjo (SNL orchestra), Barry Olsen, and Kristin Korb. In addition to drum set, Ryan has performed as percussionist on the touring Broadway productions of Wicked, Spamalot, and others. Ryan has played on numerous recordings and has been seen at numerous jazz festivals and jazz venues internationally.  Ryan has served as Music Director at Emmanuel since 1996.
